It has been quiet around Munich’s Altschwabing for a long time, but now the quarter between Englischer Garten and Münchner Freiheit is experiencing a revival. “We did not want a cold, abstract design hotel, but one embracing warmth and tranquility. A place where one immediately feels at home.” Roland Hötzinger ( proprietor ) explains. The project has been realized together with Lorenzo A. Canato, because both Roland Hötzinger and Lorenzo A. Canato are not only connoisseurs of the Munich scene but also important figures of Munich’s gastronomy. Previous projects in Munich and Kitzbühel have state-of-the-art cuisine and service. “la maison” likewise fits the requirements to become Munich’s new favourite address.

Neither the entrance hall nor rooms are typical for a hotel; everything is designed to make guests feel at home, affectionataly cared for by people who are able to create a sense of well-beeing as if by magic. The lobby is a spacious meeting place as well as a restaurant and a bar. The interior of the rooms skillfully combines design, charm and informality.
